Carlo Ancelotti has distanced himself from the vacant position at Liverpool as he vows to complete his one-year sabbatical, leaving Jurgen Klopp as the only serious contender for the job.
The Italian, who has also been linked with a return to Chelsea to replace under-fire boss Jose Mourinho, said: "My idea continues to be to remain away for a year."
Meanwhile, Barcelona have failed to rule out a £13million move for Celta Vigo forward Nolito, who is also a target for Liverpool and Arsenal.
Barca's technical director Robert Fernandez said: "He's a great player, part of the national team. He's there and it could happen, but he's a Celta player."

And finally, Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo claim Reds playmaker Philippe Coutinho is 'suffering' at Liverpool amid interest from Barcelona.
The Brazilian's agent is believed to have held talks with Barca's representatives, but would prefer to make the move next summer rather than in January.
