LIVERPOOL have sacked Brendan Rodgers after three years in charge. Express Sport takes a look at how he went from Vicarage Road to Anfield.
Brendan Rodgers sacked by Liverpool
After limited success at Championship sides Watford and Reading, Rodgers joined Swansea in July 2010.
The Northern Irishman led the Swans to the Premier League after a play-off final win over former side Reading in 2011.
He lost a few pounds after leaving Wales for giants Liverpool, but that wasn't the only thing that was shed.
The Kop boss led Liverpool to an impressive second-place finish in his first season in charge at Anfield but it went downhill from there.

Out of the Champions League in the group stages, Rodgers' second season in Merseyside resulted in a meagre sixth place finish.
Expectation was high among the demanding Reds supporters and the pressure continued to mount.
After only managing three wins in the opening eight games this season, a 1-1 draw in the Merseyside derby resulted in Liverpool pulling the plug on Rodgers' reign.
