Manchester United outcast set to end nightmare by signing for Sevilla
MANCHESTER UNITED outcast Victor Valdes could put an end to his Old Trafford nightmare with a January move to Sevilla, according to reports in Spain.
Victor Valdes Player Profile
The Champions League side are believed to have opened talks with United over a free transfer for the shot-stopper in the winter window, claim Mundo Deportivo.
Sevilla are in the market for a 'keeper after second-choice Beto suffered an injury, and with continued concerns over first-choice stopper Sergio Rico, the La Liga club are considering Valdes as a cheap option to provide competition.
Valdes has been exiled from the Manchester United squad after a row with manager Louis van Gaal and was told to play with the reserves after a summer move to Turkish outfit Beskitas fell through.
The Spaniard has been surplus to requirements since David De Gea signed a new four-year contract and Sergio Romero was brought in from Sampdoria.

United were even prepared to terminate the 33-year-old's contract but only if he didn't join Chelsea or Liverpool.
Valdes has made just three appearances for United who currently sit top of the Premier League table.
