Arsenal legend Thierry Henry believes Wenger could bring in another midfielder or striker before the end of the transfer window to help challenge for the title.
"It is the boss’ prerogative that he believes these current players are good enough to win the title," Henry wrote in his column for The Sun.
"I’m sure he would have liked to sign at least one more player. Maybe another central midfielder and a striker.
"Sometimes, the players you need will not come for various reasons and maybe this has been the case.
"Also, there are still a few days left of the transfer window for something to happen at Arsenal."
And finally, Arsene Wenger has reportedly made contact with Andriy Yarmolenko's agent in an attempt to entice the Dynamo Kiev star to the Premier League.
Barcelona, along with Premier League duo Arsenal and Everton, are said to be interested in securing a deal for Yarmolenk.
A move to Barcelona is thought to be the Ukraine international's first choice.
But Spanish news outlet Fichajes claim Gunners boss Wenger has phoned the 25-year-old's agent to discuss a move to the Emirates.
