Lavezzi's agent Alejandro Mazzoni is reportedly in Milan to discuss a deal despite earlier suggesting no contact had been made between the two clubs.
Mazzoni had said: “Lavezzi is playing at PSG and from this point of view, everything’s going well.
“I wouldn’t know if there could be news about Inter soon, we will see what happens in the next few days.”
However, Inter are said to be still hopeful of landing the attacker.

But as a result of the talks, Arsenal's chances of signing Lavezzi are starting to dwindle.
Arsene Wenger is said to be still hopeful of securing a marquee signing this summer despite seemingly missing out on the chance of landing Real Madrid star Karim Benzema.
