Ed Woodward trends on Twitter as Man Utd fans blast chief over Chelsea's Pedro deal
MANCHESTER UNITED fans have hit out at chief executive Ed Woodward after Chelsea hijacked the club's bid to sign Pedro.
Ed Woodward flew to Spain to try and wrap up the Pedro deal
Woodward had flown to Barcelona earlier this week to secure the £21.1million transfer of Pedro.
A deal was supposedly arranged and personal terms agreed upon, with the payment method the only hurdle left to consider.
But Chelsea today swooped in after triggering the player's release clause and he is set to undergo a medical in London soon.
And United fans were less than happy with Woodward for the failed deal.
Why do we have Ed Woodward in Man U if he cant make a simple signing?????!!!

However, some fans were also more philosophical about proceedings in Spain.
