Arsenal flop Abou Diaby rejected Liverpool and West Brom to join Marseille
ABOU DIABY cannot wait to get his career back on track at Marseille.
Abou Diaby has joined West Brom
Diaby left Arsenal after 10 years at the north London club to return to France with Marseille.
The 29-year-old snubbed an offer from West Brom boss Tony Pulis to stay in the Premier League.
And according to reports in France, Diaby also rejected a surprise move from Liverpool.
French sports paper L'Equipe report the Reds approached the midfielder with a 'pay-as-you-play' deal but he had already decided to join Marseille.

Diaby said: "We can call this a new start in my career.
"I haven't played in two years, and featured in very few matches over the past four years, but I'm here to get back to my best level. I totally understand (people's) skepticism."
Guy Roux, Diaby's former manager at Auxerre, added: "This could be the biggest coup for Marseille for a long time and it's also a great gift to the French league.
"Diaby is a fabulous player, well-disciplined and pleasant by nature. He has the kind of talent which has been sadly lacking from French football in recent times."
