Tottenham move for Man United's Ashley Young after Yannick Bolasie deal falls through
TOTTENHAM have turned their attention to Manchester United winger Ashley Young, according to reports.
Ashley Young may be forced out of the starting XI by Memphis Depay
Spurs were understood to be keen on signing Crystal Palace star Yannick Bolasie.
However, Palace have slapped a huge £25million price-tag on the 26-year-old which has reportedly forced Mauricio Pochettino to look elsewhere.
The Daily Mirror claim Pochettino has now looked into signing Ashley Young, after the 30-year-old had an impressive campaign under Louis van Gaal.
The former Aston Villa man enjoyed a resurgence since the Dutchman took over at United and became a first-team fixture.
But it's believed the arrival of Memphis Depay from PSV Eindhoven has got Young thinking his days may be numbered at Old Trafford.
And with Tottenham reported to be offloading wide-men Aaron Lennon and Andros Townsend, first-team football could be available at White Hart Lane.
