Man United move ahead of Arsenal with stunning swoop for Cesc Fabregas succesor
MANCHESTER UNITED are ready to spend big to land Barcelona wonder kid Oriol Busquets, according to reports.
Man United are reportedly ready to pursue a deal for Oriol Busquets
The 16-year-old has recently signed a new three-year contract with the Catalan giants but Sport claim United are still keen to pursue a deal.
Arsenal are already understood to have tabled an offer but reports suggest they could be blown out of the water.
After impressing in the Barca youth ranks, comparisons have been drawn with Chelsea's Cesc Fabregas and namesake - not relation - Sergio.
Barca hoped the youngster might step in to fill his shoes but it appears an offer from England might be difficult to turn down.
Fabregas was tempted to the Premier League by the Gunners as a 16-year-old in 2003.
And they have also raided the Spanish giants' youth academy for the likes of Hector Bellerin and Jon Toral.
The two sides have a good relationship when it comes to doing business but United could be ready to have their say.
However, it is believed Barcelona will do everything within their power to keep the young talent on their books.
