Aston Villa target Spurs' £100,000-a-week Adebayor to replace Liverpool-bound Benteke
ASTON VILLA are considering a bid for Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor, according to reports.

Villans boss Tim Sherwood worked with the Togo striker during a successful period in charge at White Hart Lane two seasons ago.
He is keen to be reunited with Adebayor, according to the Birmingham Mail, despite the player reportedly earning £100,000-a-week at Spurs.
But needs must for Villa as they seek a new striker after accepting Liverpool's £32.5million bid for Christian Benteke.
That deal should be complete within the week, leaving Sherwood with money to spend.
And he appears to have turned to former club Tottenham for his next recruit after reportedly coming close to ending his pursuit of QPR's Charlie Austin.
Austin, 26, is on West Ham and Southampton's radar, while Newcastle were considered suitors before their move for Aleksandar Mitrovic last week.
