LIVERPOOL had been plotting a move for Roberto Firmino for over a year, according to the player.

Firmino joined the Reds from Hoffenheim in a £29m deal earlier this summer.
But the Brazilian ace - who was also linked with Manchester United - says Brendan Rodgers had been eyeing a deal since Luis Suarez left the club for Barcelona 12 months ago.
