YOUNES KABOUL has signed a four-year deal with Sunderland having completed his transfer from Tottenham.
Younes Kaboul has signed a four-year deal at Sunderland
Kaboul joins the Black Cats for an undisclosed fee after five and a half years in north London.
The former France defender is Dick Advocaat's fourth summer signing following the arrivals of Sebastian Coates, Adam Matthews and Jeremain Lens.
“I’m delighted to be a Sunderland player and it’s an honour to join this club," Kaboul said.
“I would like to thank Lee Congerton and the head coach for making this move possible and I can’t wait to start playing for the Sunderland supporters.”
Advocaat added: "He is a very experienced player, which is what we need. He has shown that in his time at Spurs and he will be a very good addition to our squad."

The move follows a huge u-turn from Kaboul after he rejected a move to the Stadium of Light seven years ago when his agent Rudy Raba claimed: "Younes would not join Sunderland even if there was an earthquake.
"No disrespect but playing at Sunderland would not help his international career."
