Confirmed: Manchester United complete Bastian Schweinsteiger transfer
MANCHESTER UNITED have signed Bastian Schweinsteiger.
Bastian Schweinsteiger has signed for Manchester United
The club revealed their new recruit this afternoon after agreeing terms with Bayern Munich over the player.
Schweinsteiger, 30, has agreed a three-year contract at Old Trafford and is Louis van Gaal's third summer signing.
Southampton's Morgan Schneiderlin is expected to be announced as United's fourth arrival after a £30m deal was agreed last week.

"I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Bayern Munich, it has been an incredible journey and I didn’t take the decision to leave lightly," Schweinsteiger told manutd.com.
"Manchester United is the only club that I would have left Munich for.
"I feel ready for this new and exciting challenge in what I regard as the most competitive league in the world and I am looking forward to working with Louis van Gaal again.
"I will never forget my time at Bayern Munich and I would like to thank everyone at the club and the fans for the great memories."
