Revealed: How Arsenal wrecked ex-Liverpool and Chelsea man's return to West Ham
GLEN JOHNSON is set to sign for Stoke after being passed on by West Ham.

West Ham were in talks with the right-back after he was released by Liverpool this summer.
But Johnson is now expected to complete a free transfer to the Britannia Stadium.
Express Sport understands the 30-year-old's preference was to return to Upton Park rather than join Stoke.
But the Hammers' season-long loan signing of Arsenal defender Carl Jenkinson has scuppered the deal.

Jenkinson made a big impression on loan at West Ham last season and is set for another campaign under new boss Slaven Bilic.
That has paved the way for Mark Hughes to bring England international Johnson to Stoke.
"We are trying to progress as a team, Glen has played at a high level for a very long time and we can benefit from his experience," he said.
Meanwhile, Hughes has confirmed goalkeeper Asmir Begovic is to seal a move to Premier League champions Chelsea.
