Gerrard reveals contact with Rodgers (and promises to continue watching Liverpool)
STEVEN GERRARD has revealed he has spoken to Brendan Rodgers since moving to LA Galaxy.

Gerrard enjoyed legendary status during his illustrious spell at Anfield before swapping the Premier League for the MLS this summer.
The 35-year-old, who holds the Reds dearly in his heart, has promised to continue watching them from afar.
Speaking at his first press conference as an LA Galaxy player, Gerrard said: "I will be watching every Liverpool game while I am here.

"I have spoken to Brendan [Rodgers] and some of the staff, who have wished me good luck and I will go and see some games in the winter."
Gerrard also explained why he chose to bring his time at Anfield to an end.
"I needed a new and a fresh challenge and I did not want to compete against Liverpool or to be a squad player," Gerrard added.

"Ready for the challenges ahead and the weather, but I am not here to collect a pay cheque, you will see that.
"I have had a great week's training so far and it wont take too long to adjust."
