Liverpool and Burnley set for tribunal battle over Danny Ings fee
THE fee to be paid by Liverpool to Burnley for Danny Ings will be decided by a tribunal.
Danny Ings underperformed for the England U21s
The clubs were unable to settle on a figure for the England Under-21 international after the Clarets turned down a £5m offer by the Reds.
Burnley are said to be holding out for at least £8m and unless there is a change, the amount will be decided by a panel because Ings is under the age of 24.
The Lancashire Telegraph say Burnley had asked for loan player as part of the deal but the request was turned down.
Liverpool have so far signed Ings, Nathaniel Clyne, James Milner, Joe Gomez, Roberto Firmino and Adam Bogdan.
