The Brazil striker has today left Shakhtar Donetsk after an eight-year stint, arriving at the San Siro on a five-year deal.
Premier League duo Arsenal and Liverpool were also believed to be keen on the 28-year-old, but Milan have won the race for his services in a £5.5million transfer.
“Today is a very important and happy day for my career,” Adriano told Calciomercato. “I’m leaving Shakhtar after eight years, a club that is very important to me.
