Di Maria came close to joining PSG last summer before he signed for United in a £59.6million deal.
Fellaini appeared to suggest Di Maria would be a 'great signing' for PSG, but the Belgian midfielder claims he was 'misquoted' by French broadcaster Telefoot.
I also said if I were him I would STAY at @ManUtd
"Seems I have been misquoted from @telefoot--TF1 interview !!!!," Fellaini tweeted.
"I said that Di Maria would be a good signing for any club as he is a great player.
