Jay Rodriguez REVEALS why he snubbed Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham for Southampton
JAY RODRIGUEZ says Southampton's loyalty during his long injury lay-off was enough to persuade him to sign a new deal with the club.

Rodriguez suffered an anterior cruciate knee ligament injury in April last year and has missed the entire campaign so far.
Despite the injury, Rodriguez has been linked with a move away from St Mary's with Liverpool, Tottenham and Arsenal all reportedly keen to secure his signature.
However, the Burnley-born striker is keen to repay the faith Southampton have shown him by signing a new four-year deal.
"The season we've had has been really good and I think, obviously, the loyalty that they've put into me to offer me a new contract means a lot to me and it was just something I wanted to do," he said.

"The aim is to improve each year and I think there's no reason why we shouldn't.
"We've got great players, a manager, and the squad's fantastic, so I think there's no limit really.
"We've just got to carry on working hard and hopefully improve on last year."
