REVEALED: Inter Milan got Liverpool target Xherdan Shaqiri for a bargain
BAYERN MUNICH could have got more money for Xherdan Shaqiri if they sold to him Liverpool instead of Inter Milan.

That is according to Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge.
Shaqiri joined the Serie A giants on a six-month loan deal in the January transfer window and he is set to turn it into an £11million permanent move in the summer.
Liverpool were also chasing Shaqiri's signature and tabled an offer in excess of £15m.
And Rummenigge believes Inter 'hit the jackpot' by getting Shaqiri on the cheap.
We would have earned more had we sold him to England so you could say we gave Inter a discount
"We would have earned more had we sold him to England so you could say we gave Inter a discount," Rummenigge told Gazzetta dello Sport.
"Inter have hit the jackpot with the capture of Shaqiri. He is still young and has a lot of quality. He is a player who can make the difference.
"He will only become more consistent once he has fully adapted. He needs to feel comfortable and at home to be at his best.
"There were a lot of Premier League clubs after him as well, but I advised him to go to Inter. Shaqiri needed regular playing time again."
