Manchester United star Wayne Rooney opens up on England captaincy
MANCHESTER UNITED striker Wayne Rooney maintains he is pleased with the job he has done as England captain so far.

Rooney assumed responsibility as England skipper last summer, replacing Liverpool icon Steven Gerrard in the process.
The 29-year-old has been in excellent form for club and country this term, but concedes he had 'big boots to fill' replacing Gerrard.
"It was huge boots to fill in Steven Gerrard," Rooney said.
"I knew I wasn't coming into the role to make all the right decisions - you learn along the way.
