The centre-half joined the Reds in the summer of 2013 from Sporting Lisbon for £7.5m, but is yet to make a first-team appearance due to being loaned out twice.
The Portuguese spent time at Granada last season, and is currently impressing in Bordeaux's back-line this term.
He's been key in the heart of the defence, with the club currently sitting one point off a European qualification spot in Ligue 1.

And according to reports in France, former Manchester United boss Moyes has watched the young defender in action in recent weeks.
The latest time being in yesterday's 3-2 win over Paris Saint-Germain at the Stade Chaban Delmas.
Ilori has reportedly also attracted interest from Premier League pair Sunderland and Hull, along with Championship outfit Wolves.
