REVEALED: The next Man Utd starlet to follow Wilson, McNair and Blackett into first-team
MANCHESTER UNITED academy star Ashley Fletcher hopes to emulate James Wilson, Paddy McNair and Tyler Blackett's rise into the first-team.
Ashley Fletcher hopes to impress Louis van Gaal in the Under-21s side
Defenders McNair and Blackett have been called upon several times by Louis van Gaal this term due to a number of injuries, while Wilson has bolstered the Dutchman's attacking options.
And now 19-year-old striker Fletcher hopes he can also impress in the Under-21s and make the step up to the senior side.
Asked if he had any inspirations, Fletcher said: "Yes, I look up to James Wilson and obviously Paddy McNair and Tyler Blackett too, and Danny Welbeck when he was here.
