Man Utd face tough battle to achieve target of Champions League, claims Antonio Valencia
MANCHESTER UNITED winger Antonio Valencia believes his side face a tough battle to return to the Champions League next season.
Antonio Valencia fears other teams in battle for top four
The Red Devils currently sit fourth in the Premier League standings after 22 games, but sit 12 behind leaders Chelsea and seven behind fierce rivals Manchester City in second place.
The fight for third and fourth remains tight as Southampton maintain a two point gap on Louis van Gaal's men, while Arsenal, Tottenham, West Ham and Liverpool continue to breathe down United’s necks.
"It’s very open and quite tight in those top spots," Valencia said.

We must fight hard in the remaining games to finish as high as possible
"We’re seven points behind second place and then a couple of teams are three or four points below us.
"We must fight hard in the remaining games to finish as high as possible. It’s a long season and we’ve picked ourselves up of late, so we need to keep the results coming for the fans.
"We’ve got tough games coming up against very good teams and rivals for our position but, if we keep the concentration high, we can achieve our aim of a top-four finish."
