REVEALED: The REAL reason Edinson Cavani skipped Paris Saint-Germain training
EDINSON CAVANI'S absence from Paris Saint-Germain's winter training camp had nothing to do with a proposed move to Arsenal, according to the player's friend German Fernandez.
Edinson Cavani has been fined by PSG
Fernandez is currently taking part in the Dakar Rally and Cavani stopped off on his way back from South America to wish his pal well.
Cavani tweeted a picture on January 1 saying: "Good luck to my friend German Fernandez in his beautiful adventure at #Dakar2015."
Cavani has been fined by PSG for his failure to report back on time and has been stood down by Laurent Blanc for at least the next tow Ligue 1 games.
And while some reports have suggested that Cavani was trying to orchestrate a move to Arsenal, Fernandez insists that was not the Uruguayan's intention.

Well, let's say it a bit my fault.
He told Le Parisien: "Well, let's say it a bit my fault.
"Edinson is really a very good person, very humble and I'm proud of him.
"He came to wish me luck. We took a picture and it is mounted on the bike.
"But I told him that he couldn't come out on the road with me. You still have to be careful."
