Mario Balotelli has been left at home by Liverpool for their clash with Bournemouth
Balotelli was a second-half substitute during the 3-0 defeat to Manchester United on Sunday, in his comeback from a groin problem.
But the former Manchester City striker will not feature against Bournemouth after staying behind to receive further treatment on the injury at Liverpool's Melwood training ground.
The Reds are hopeful Balotelli will be fit for the Premier League clash with Arsenal, although he could yet miss the game through suspension.

Balotelli will discover tomorrow whether he can face the Gunners on Sunday (4pm) when the verdict on his inflammatory social media post is made.
An independent commission is set to decide if the Italian hitman should be banned after he put a picture of Super Mario on his Instagram page which also contained ant-Semitic language.
Brendan Rodgers is poised to field a strong Liverpool team against Bournemouth although Glen Johnson is also missing through injury.
