LIGHTS OUT in Tottenham clash at Besiktas
TOTTENHAM'S Europa League clash at Besiktas was halted just eight minutes in because of a lighting failure at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium.
The floodlights went out for 13 minutes in Istanbul
Swedish referee Stefan Johannesson brought both teams off the pitch while stadium staff desperately scrambled to fix the problem.
But Besiktas fans didn't let the lack of football spoil the party, with a magnificent lighting display off mobile phones, cameras and flares coming from the main stand.
After 16 minutes the players returned to the field to continue where they left off.
