Liverpool News and Transfers: Klopp to replace Rodgers, £10m Redmond swoop, Odegaard snub
JURGEN KLOPP is being lined up to replace under-fire Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers.
Liverpool Transfer Round up
Liverpool lost 3-1 to Crystal Palace yesterday with Rodgers blaming himself for the defeat.
The Reds boss admits he is under pressure after overseeing the club's worst run of form for five years.
"I'm not arrogant enough to think that I will be in a job through anything," he said.
"Any manager will tell you that you have to win games and you have to get results, especially after how we've been developing as a football club."
And Borussia Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp could be set to replace Rodgers at Anfield, despite persistent links with the Arsenal job.
Jurgen Klopp could be on his way to Liverpool
Klopp has expressed his interest at taking charge of an English club, saying: "I think England is the only country I think where I should work.
"If somebody will call me, then we will talk about it."
Liverpool are preparing a £10million move for Norwich flyer Nathan Redmond.
The Reds will have to battle with Southampton for the England Under-21 winger.
Rodgers reckons Redmond could emulate Raheem Sterling at Anfield and is plotting a January swoop.
Liverpool are tracking Nathan Redmond
Norwegian wonderkid Martin Odegaard is set to sign for Manchester United.
Odegaard is a Liverpool fan and has already undergone a trial on Merseyside.
But the 15-year-old is ready to turn down some of the biggest clubs in the world to join United.
