The Argentine joined United in the summer for £59.7m from Real Madrid, breaking the British transfer record in the process.
The 26-year-old has arguably been Louis van Gaal's most consistent player since, scoring three goals and assisting five in nine Premier League outings this term.
Despite his best efforts, the Old Trafford outfit have struggled for form and currently sit in seventh place, 13 points behind leaders Chelsea.
But that hasn't put Di Maria off his long-term ambitions at the club, and has hinted that he could stay at the Red Devils beyond the five-year deal he signed in August.
