Ex-Man Utd and Everton boss David Moyes considered for vacant La Liga post
FORMER Manchester United and Everton boss David Moyes could be in line for a new managerial challenge abroad.
The 51-year-old was sacked by the Red Devils after just 10 months in charge of the club.
Moyes has taken a break from the game and has been touted for a number of positions both home and abroad.
And according to reports, Moyes is in the frame for the vacant Real Sociedad post after they parted company with Jagoba Arrasate.
It is thought that former Tottenham manager Juande Ramos and ex-West Bromwich Albion manager Pepe Mel are also being considered for the post.
I have spoken about that with the coach [Arrasate], who knows that already
And Real Sociedad president Jokin Aperribay admitted Moyes is a contender for the position when he told radio station Cadena Ser: "It is true that we are working on finding other alternatives and possibilities.
"I have spoken about that with the coach [Arrasate], who knows that already.
"A club in this situation looks at alternatives and possibilities in case things happen and situations get more difficult."
