TEAM NEWS: Lampard misses out for Man City; Kouyate and Tomkins back for West Ham
FRANK LAMPARD won't face former team West Ham for Manchester City on Saturday (12:45pm) after being ruled out with a thigh injury.
Lampard picked up the problem in last weekend's 4-1 win over Tottenham and won't return to training until next week.
Samir Nasri is back training with the squad after surgery on a groin injury but won't be in contention until next week.
Meanwhile, West Ham will have both James Tomkins and Cheikhou Kouyate available for the visit of Manuel Pellegrini's side.
The pair have recovered from thigh and groin problems respectively while striker Andy Carroll is back in training but not considered ready for the clash at Upton Park.
Guy Demel (thigh), Joey O'Brien (knee) and James Collins (groin) are also out injured.
