West Brom apologise for TAUNT tweet at Marouane Fellaini minutes before equaliser
WEST BROM were left red-faced last night after their tweet mocking Manchester United's Marouane Fellaini backfired.
The Baggies were 1-0 up thanks to Stephane Sessegnon's fine early strike when their official Twitter feed decided to tempt fate.
At half-time, West Brom tweeted "Fellaini has now taken his tracksuit off, fortunately he has a Man Utd strip on underneath."

But the much-maligned United midfielder took to the field for the second half and offered an instant riposte, chesting down Angel Di Maria's cross before shifting the ball and firing into the top corner.
Fellaini's goal came just FIVE minutes after West Brom's tweet.
Saido Berahino went on to put the hosts back in control but a late Daley Blind stunner earned Louis van Gaal's side a point.
Back on social media, a barrage of mocking tweets came West Brom's way, forcing the club to apologise.
Albion tweeted: "Sorry if a joke about a footballer not having a shirt on under his tracksuit top has caused such outrage. It was not intended as a slur."
United reserve goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard did not appreciate the tweet, accusing West Brom of a "complete lack of knowledge, class and respect."
