Juan Cuadrado pushing for £30m Man Utd move in BIZARRE new twist
JUAN CUADRADO is set to sign a new deal with Fiorentina in an effort to join Manchester United.
In a bizarre move, the Colombia international is close to agreeing a five-year-contract with the Serie A giants, but according to reports in Italy, Cuadrado has worked in a £30million release clause which he hopes Louis Van Gaal will meet in the January transfer window.
The 26-year-old was tipped to join the Red Devils over the summer, but opted to stay with Fiorentina after United saw a bid worth around £25million rejected.

Cuadrado, who is able to play in both attack and defence, is also being followed by Bayern Munich and Barcelona, and United could have a battle on their hands to secure his signature.
Van Gaal remains keen to sign a number of players in the upcoming window, with Real Madrid pair Fabio Coentrao and Sami Khedira on his radar, but will look to make the versatile Cuadrado a priority.
