QPR preparing AUDACIOUS £10m bid for Spurs England international winger Andros Townsend
QUEENS PARK RANGERS are lining up a £10m bid for Tottenham's England international winger Andros Townsend.
Townsend broke into Roy Hodgson's Three Lions set up last term before a drop in form and an ankle injury saw him miss the World Cup.
Reports suggest that Harry Redknapp is keen to bring the 23-year-old to Loftus Road next term and has made an initial enquiry about his availability.
While that has been firmly rebuffed by Spurs, Redknapp is ready to test the White Hart Lane outfit's resolve with a £10m bid.

Harry Redknapp wants Andros Townsend at QPR
Mauricio Pochettino is believed to be a big fan of Townsend's and has reportedly told him he is a big part of his plans next term.
However, with Erik Lamela impressing in pre-season and speculation about a move for PSV starlet Memphis Depay, Townsend could find it hard to tie down a regular first-team place.
Redknapp will surely be hoping that PSV's claim that Spurs have not made a bid for Depay doesn't hold for long, and that the Dutch international's arrival could pave the way for Townsend to depart.
