Stoke, West Brom and Southampton locked in three-way battle to sign £6m-rated Parma star
STOKE, West Brom and Southampton are locked in a three-way battle to sign French winger Jonathan Biabiany.
Reports claim the Premier League trio have all enquired over the availability of Biabiany, and could snap-up the 26-year-old for as little as £6m.
Biabiany made a significant contribution to Parma's impressive sixth-place finish - netting six times with a further five assists to boot.
The Frenchman could be considered somewhat of a journeyman having represented five clubs in seven years.
But since his £1.75m move to Parma - Biabiany has found a level of consistency that has attracted the attention of the Premier League.
The winger has recently signed a new four-year deal with the Italians - thus conceding Parma the upper-hand in transfer negotiations.
No clear favourite has been established between the Premier League sides yet, however with Southampton's greater financial muscle as a result of the mass St.Mary's exodus - Koeman could take charge of proceedings.
