Wayne Rooney says he is feeling sharp ahead of the new season.
The Manchester United striker performed terrifically as his side beat Liverpool 3-1 to lift the International Champions Cup.
He said: "Yes, I feel good and I am just excited for the season to start.
"I haven’t had much of a break [after the World Cup] so my fitness just needed toping up really. I feel good, the Liverpool game was my first 90 minutes since the World Cup and that will only help me."
