Tottenham agree deal to sign former Everton and England U21 defender Eric Dier
TOTTENHAM have agreed a deal with Portuguese side Sporting Lisbon for the sale of former Everton defender Eric Dier.
Tottenham announced the deal on their official twitter page earlier this evening, with the deal expected to be concluded tomorrow evening.
No contract length or fee has been revealed, but it's believed £4m has been offered to secure the 20-year old's services.
We are delighted to announce that we have reached agreement with Sporting Lisbon for the transfer of Eric Dier, subject to a medical.

Dier constitutes Mauricio Pochettino's third summer signing after Swansea duo Ben Davies and Michel Vorm - and could put an end to the Argentine's efforts to sign fellow Sporting Lisbon defender Marcos Rojo.
Dier made 12 first-team appearances for Lisbon this season, helping the Portuguese side earn a very credible second place finish.

And with Pochettino's proven track-record of developing young English talent (Luke Shaw, Jack Cork, James Ward-Prowse) the former Toffee is in good hands.
Dier spent a season on loan with David Moyes' Everton, and made his debut for England's under-21 side in the 6-0 drubbing of Scotland last year.
