CONFIRMED: Arsenal complete the signing of Colombia international David Ospina
ARSENAL have completed the capture of Colombian international David Ospina from French side Nice.
The 25-year-old goalkeeper has put pen to paper on a long-term contract, and could even make his debut against Benfica in the Emirates Cup next weekend.
The Gunners are yet to announce a fee, however with his contract running out next summer - it is thought Ospina would cost a modest £3m.
The signing of the impressive Colombian will put pressure on Wojciech Szczesny, who, with the exit of Lukasz Fabianski, had been Arsenal's only recognised first-team keeper.

Arsene Wenger was delighted to have a secured a deal, and told the club website: "David Ospina is an excellent goalkeeper, with good experience and a proven record of performing with Nice and Colombia.
"He will add strength to our squad and we are very pleased that he will be joining us."

The former Nice number one has risen to prominence during the World Cup with a series of terrific displays.
His commanding presence between the sticks helped Colombia to an historic quarter-final, conceding just four goals along the way.
