Chelsea handed major transfer boost after Real Madrid prodigy hints at Bernabeu irritation
CHELSEA have been handed a glimmer of hope in their pursuit of Real Madrid's defensive prodigy Raphael Varane.
Reports circulating in the British and Spanish press claim Varane has asked his representatives to organise a meeting with Los Blanco chiefs.
Many inferring that Varane is unhappy with his current deal - and wants a significant boost in his £25,000 a week wages.
Chelsea will see the 21-year-old's displeasure at being paid a fraction of Madrid's other stars, as the perfect opportunity to lure him to Stamford Bridge.

Varane was plucked from obscurity by Jose Mourinho in 2011 - for a fee in the region of £10m.
But after his sterling performances for France during their successful World Cup campaign and delivering an ever growing case to replace Pepe at the heart of the Madrid defence - his value has no doubt increased.
Jose Mourinho is already in the process of adding to his impressive defensive unit - with Atletico Madrid's Filipe Luis set to join in the next few days.
Of course, the French international could be using Chelsea's interest as leverage for a new deal with the Galacticos.
