Tottenham frontrunners for Ben Davies after Swansea 'accept £10million bid'
TOTTENHAM have surged ahead of Liverpool in the race for Ben Davies after Swansea reportedly accepted a £10million bid.
The Reds have been keeping an eye on the 21-year-old although reports surfaced yesterday that they had an £8m offer rebuffed.
Alberto Moreno was also heavily linked with a move to Anfield, but Brendan Rodgers baulked at the £18m valuation.
Spurs are also looking to shore up their backline and it seems they are in pole position to land him.

Reports now suggest that a move could be on the cards for Davies who was left out of Garry Monk's squad last night for a Europa League game.
Though the Swans are playing hardball, it is thought they are willing to see what Liverpool and Spurs can both offer.
Liverpool got their pre-season campaign underway last night against Danish side Brondby.
