Swansea set to sell Ki Sung-Yueng and Pablo Hernandez
ASTON VILLA are keen on Swansea midfielder Ki Sung-Yueng and could tie up a deal this week.
Lambert and his team fly out to the United States for their pre-season tour on Saturday and he would ideally have the 25-year-old on board by then.
Villa’s hand is strengthened by the fact Ki is out of contract in 12 months and their squad is now a midfielder down after the exit of Yacouba Sylla to Turkish side Kayseri Erciyesspor on a season-long loan yesterday.
SWANSEA look set to lose Spanish winger Pablo Hernandez to Qatari side Al Arabi.
Hernandez, 29, flew to the Middle East for talks with former Chelsea defender Dan Petrescu, now in charge at Al Arabi.
He did not travel on the club’s US tour after requesting a transfer.
Enner Valencia Player Profile
WEST HAM are set to confirm the signing of £12m striker Enner Valencia today after he passed a medical at the club yesterday.
The 25-year-old scored all three of Ecuador’s World Cup goals and is expected to sign a five-year deal.
Valencia will become Sam Allardyce’s fifth summer signing.
