Costa Rica hero Keylor Navas coy over Liverpool and Arsenal links
COSTA RICA and Levante goalkeeper Keylor Navas has refused to comment on speculation that he is set to join either Liverpool or Arsenal this summer.
The shotstopper has been in top form for his country after they reached the quarter-finals of the World Cup in Brazil after a win against Greece.
The central American side also topped their 'Group of Death' after beating Italy and Uruguay, as well as drawing with Roy Hodgson's England, and will now go up against Holland.
His performances have not gone unnoticed, with La Liga giants Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid reportedly interested, but Brendan Rodgers and Arsene Wenger are leading the chase for his signature after another target, Mexico's Guillermo Ochoa, revealed he would love to ply his trade in Germany.
Liverpool are searching for a new goalkeeper to challenge No1 Simon Mignolet, with Pepe Reina set for a second loan spell at Napoli, whilst Arsenal need to replace Lukas Fabianksi, who joined Swansea on a free transfer.
Costa Rica 'writing' its country's football history
There are more important things at this time for the honour of the country
However Navas is adamant that he is not thinking about his next career move, and insists he is fully focused on the task at hand with Costa Rica.
He said: "I'm facing everything with ease.
"There are more important things at this time for the honour of the country.
"For now I just want to do things right and help [Costa Rica] in everything I can."
