Aberystwyth Town taunt Manchester United for failing to qualify for Europa League
WELSH minnows Aberystwyth Town have taken to social media to mock Manchester United for their failure to qualify for any European competition next season.
The Seasiders are travelling to Northern Ireland to face Derry City in the Europa League first qualifying round on Thursday evening and the team used the spare time to taunt Louis van Gaal's new side on Twitter.
Players posed on the team bus for a photo which was uploaded to the site with the caption: "Hey @ManUtd, we are all off to Europe... Are you??? @EuropaLeague"
Aberystwyth finished third in the Welsh Premier League while United limped to seventh place in the English Premier League.

The Welsh outfit began their Twitter teasing last week by pointing out that their 5,000 capacity Park Avenue stadium will host European football unlike 75,731 capacity Old Trafford.
They wrote: "Difference between these two grounds? One will host European football this season..one won't. #ATFC"
Aberystwyth will be hoping to beat Derry over two legs, with the second match to take place next week at home, to continue their fun and games with United.
