Manchester United owner Malcolm Glazer dies at 86
MANCHESTER UNITED owner Malcolm Glazer has died at the age of 86.
The American businessman, who also owned NFL team Tampa Bay Buccaneers, took over at Old Trafford in 2005, with sons Joel and Avram serving as co-chairmen.
The New York native oversaw a hugely successful period during his time with the Red Devils, landing five Premier League titles and the 2008 Champions League cup.
Glazer leaves behind his wife Linda, six children and 14 grandchildren, and Man United have released a statement saying: "Our thoughts are with the Glazer family."
