Leeds to renew interest in released Crystal Palace defender Dean Moxey
LEEDS UNITED are set to renew their interest in former Derby County and Exeter City defender Dean Moxey after being released by Crystal Palace.
The 28-year-old, who joined Palace in 2011, was a first-team regular at Selhurst Park, but the appointment of Tony Pulis last November saw his appearances limited.
The Eagles revealed last week that they were not going to offer Moxey a new contract and placed him on their released list, joined by fellow left-back Jonathan Parr.
Leeds to approach released defender Dean Moxey
Leeds boss Brian McDermott was interested in signing Moxey last summer and is likely to take advantage of his contract situation when the transfer window reopens.
However, the Elland Road side will face Championship competition from Bolton, who attempted to take the full-back on loan in February.
