LIVERPOOL are closing in on a £10m deal for Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Emre Can.
Reports in Germany suggest that a deal to take Can to Liverpool is 'as good as done'.
The 20-year-old is highly rated in the Bundesliga having impressed after breaking into the Leverkusen side this term.
Can came through the youth system at Bayern Munich but left for Leverkusen in search of first team football.

And the youngster has been a revelation, scoring three goals in 29 appearances.
Those displays were enough for Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers to step up his pursuit of the Germany Under-21 international, and it appears a £10m deal is very much in the pipeline.
Rodgers is believed to have a close relationship with Can's agent, who also helped negotiate the deals to bring Nuri Sahin and Samed Yesil to the club.
Liverpool also retain a strong interest in Bayern Munich's Swiss midfielder Xherdan Shaqiri but the player insists he wants to remain in Germany for at least one more season.
