Sunderland 1 - Swansea 3: Marvin Emnes and Nathan Dyer put Black Cats to the sword
SUNDERLAND finished their season in disappointing fashion after being brushed aside by Swansea at the Stadium of Light.
The Black Cats had sparked a stunning turnaround in the last five weeks to secure their top flight status but they had no answer for a rampant Swans.
Nathan Dyer opened the scoring after seven minutes for the visitors when he scooped a neat finish past Vito Mannone.
Swansea doubled their advantage after 14 minutes when Marvin Emnes accepted a Wilfried Bony pass before firing low past Mannone.
Sunderland pulled a goal back through Fabio Borini five minutes after the break when he headed past Gerhard Tremmel.
And Bony rounded off the scoring with his 16th of the season when he drove home via the post from 15 yards out.
