Garry Monk not looking for extra hands at Swansea
GARRY MONK believes asking for help to lead Swansea would mean he had failed.
Monk, 35, has been in charge since February, taking over as interim head coach when Michael Laudrup was sacked.
The club are just three points above the drop zone with four games to go.
Some pundits, notably former Swansea and Wales winger Leighton James, have called for a director of football to be appointed to guide Monk.
But Monk said: “If I said I needed help it would be failing. I don’t think like that.”
