Vincent Kompany: Manchester City are used to BIG games like Liverpool
VINCENT KOMPANY insists Manchester City aren't daunted by their big game against Liverpool next week after thrashing Southampton.
The Citizens turned on the style after their 4-1 victory at the Etihad to move to within a point of the Reds.
City's title destiny is in their hands and Kompany underlined the importance of it in his post-match interview.
"The next game will be Liverpool and we have got eight days to focus on that," he told BT Sport.
"It is going to be an important week. It is a big game but we have played those before."

Kompany lavished praise on David Silva, who played a starring role in their impressive victory over the Saints.
"David [Silva] was great. He was amazing. We knew it was going to be a big game and a difficult one so we can take a lot of positives and confidence from it."
Kompany also admitted he didn't 'see anything' as far as Silva, who appeared to be an offside position in the build-up to the second goal, was concerned.
