Stuart Pearce in the frame again after Nottingham Forest reopen talks
STUART PEARCE appears to be in the frame again for the Nottingham Forest managerial vacancy after reopening talks with the club.
Pearce was originally the frontrunner for the position, but distanced himself from it due to 'personal reasons'.
The Championship outfit have been searching for a new manager since sacking Billy Davies in the wake of the 5-0 defeat against Derby.
Ex-QPR boss Neil Warnock was a contender for the post but ruled himself out of the running for the position.
Malky Mackay and Gianfranco Zola have also been touted as possible candidates, but there has been little movement on the negotiations front with the pair.
Pearce, who spent 12 years as a player at the City Ground is now in talks over a longer contract offer according to reports.
Forest, who had previously won just one of their last eight games, are just two points off the play-off spots after earning a 1-1 draw against Ipswich.
